GALA

The time is drawing closer to the night of the big centenary gala to be held in the Armagh City Hotel. Anyone intending to attend this very important night in the clubs history and have not booked their seat should do so now by contacting the chairman John McNamee on 02887757917 or 07800518083 or any committee member. The cost of a single ticket is £100 or a table for ten can be booked for £1000. The number of seats available are now limited. Transport can be arranged for the night by bus if there is enough interest. Anyone interested in booking a seat on a bus should contact Maeve Nugent on 02887758237 or 07775635391. McCaffrey Dress Design Pomeroy and Red Formal Hire for men in Dungannon will be giving a donation to the club for everyone who hires gear for the gala night. By supporting both of these shops you will also be supporting the club. When booking your attire please inform the shop that you are attending the Pomeroy gala.

FOOTBALL

SENIOR FOOTBALL The seniors bowed out of th championship on Saturday evening when they lost to Greencastle by two points. The reserves remain in the championship after a tight game against Dungannon on Sunday winning the game by a margin of three points. Plunkett Park will be host to a championship double header on Saturday and anyone available to help with stewarding etc should attend. YOUTH FOOTBALL The under 13s have claimed a place in the semi final of the league by beating Eglish on Sunday evening. They will now play Trillick on Friday night at 7.00p.m in Carrickmore. The under 12s will travel to Rock on Saturday morning for a tournament and a bus will leave Plunkett Park at 9,30a.m.


SYMPATHY

The club wish to express deepest sympathy to the Nugent family on the death of their aunt Rose McKernan. Sympathy is also extended to the wider McKernan family.
